Woody Harrelson shared the unlikely origin of his friendship with Harrison Ford whereas presenting him with the SAG Life Achievement Award.
On the thirty second Annual Actor Awards held on March 1, Woody launched Harrison as a “residing legend”.
The actor revealed that their bond started years in the past when he boldly adopted the Blade Runner star right into a sushi restaurant, sparking a connection that was an enduring friendship.
In his presentation, Woody revealed that Harrison emailed him asking if he would current the award to him.
The 64-year-old recalled assembly Harrison for the primary time when he noticed him “go right into a sushi restaurant over on San Vicente [Boulevard], adopted him in [and] he invited me to lunch.”
“He actually is a superb storyteller — not simply professionally. At one level we laughed, and I’m not kidding, for 3 minutes straight, and that sealed our friendship, as laughter does”, he added.
The Indiana Jones star was awarded for his contribution to Hollywood for many years since he debuted in 1966.
