Today’s Gen Z has its own library of cinematic worlds. But they should revisit their childhood, of course, once! Do we all remember how on holiday evenings our parents played the ‘Border’ movie on the television sets?

But growing up, we really can get the essence behind the great film. The utter resilience, valour and patriotic instincts are what should be celebrated.

The perpetrators of terror have tried to bruise our country every now and then. The same case happened in 1971 too. The bitter battle of Longewala was the witness of our country’s brave troops’ resilience. Mr J.P. Dutta has aesthetically weaved the nuances that happened during that time in his film ‘Border’.

Celebrating the nation:

India is set to mark its 77th Republic Day celebrations in a few days. The release of this brand-new film in such a circumstance is for sure an occurrence!

This film for sure tells us that commemorating national events does not end up in distributing snack packets and clicking a selfie with the tricolour. If the essence and spirit of a whole day are kept, then any day can truly be tagged patriotic.

Border-2 for sure tries to achieve this. This film features our national troops’ strategic blow to an atrocious mission carried out by Pakistan. Operation Chengis Khan, as it is known, is known for its treacherous infliction of pain upon Indian aircraft locations. Active roles in the cast involve those of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and many more. Currently the film has crossed a major big-box collection. May we absorb the quintessential national spirit, the spirit for our culture & civilisation without which we cannot get anywhere ahead.
