Bollywood legend Dharmendra (89) was discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on 12 November following treatment for breathlessness, his medical team confirmed today.
Family spokespersons appealed to media and fans for discretion. “Please stop spreading unverified rumours, this is harmful for our industry,” said film-maker Ashoke Pandit addressing persistent misinformation.
His elder son, actor Sunny Deol, confronted paparazzi outside the actor’s residence, urging them to respect the family’s privacy and refrain from crowding the home. Dharmendra’s longtime co-star, Amitabh Bachchan, also visited the actor today in Juhu.
